Cynthia Anderson had been receiving mysterious threats and messages over the phone while at work. James and Jay come to work and cannot find her anywhere; she usually leaves a note on the door if she steps out. A romance novel was left open on her desk to a violent abduction scene. Her car was left in the parking lot so she hadn’t driven away. Cynthia’s social security and bank accounts weren’t touched. There was a phone call from a lady saying where Cynthia was. She apparently got a call from Cynthia who was whispering and scared. She was being held in a basement of a white house. No house was ever located with the description she gave. Investigators suspected Anthony and Nathaniel Cook who were convicted of murder at the time. Also, they suspected Jose Rodriguez Jr., a drug dealer. Cynthia may have overheard incriminating information which put her in danger.
